Folktale Week Illustrations

Illustrations created for Folktale Week 2023 on Instagram.

Imagery I created to tell the story of my discovery of relatives from Ireland in the 1800s who were torn apart then and hidden from our family until now. An exploration of dislocation, connection and remembrance. I have turned these illustrations and their associated words into a book which can be found in my website shop HERE.

In January 2024 I published my story ‘Lost and Found’

I have them for sale at exhibitions and online and at markets. Words and stories are going to feature more in my work as the year progresses. Where text and imagery meet has always been my favourite place to be.

I have a lot of stories to tell, mostly on themes of connectivity and belonging, and of also of the trials of being a human in a ridiculous world!
